Very thin and runny
Other praline pastes I've used tend to have that oily layer at the top and the thicker part that settles to the bottom then mix it together and you get something of a spreadable consistency. This one while the oil was not completely separated at top was very runny with a very thin maybe 14 layer of the thick nut butter. When stirred together it still has the consistency of a thin caramel rather than a paste and mostly a bitter caramel flavor with not enough hazelnut. I would not get this particular hazelnut praline paste again especially at the price point. I expected much better from Valrhona.
