Not sure liner is necessary.
I love the baskets but the liner is cut and sewn into four pieces which affect the outcome of the bread. I think the liner would be better as one piece. The baskets are great

Just what I expected
I'm using these for sourdough. My dough is roughly 2 lbs and it fits this proofing basket perfectly. I don't proof in the covers. Instead I use the covers to cover the basket when I'm proofing over night. It all comes together and works great!

I love these!
I switch between these brotforms and simple stenciling. Don't know why but folks prefer the brotform design look on their bread. I had been using a poor quality brand and these from Bake Deco are so much stronger and the quality is far superior as well.
