Pleasantly surprised Baked a Caribbean black/ rum cake in it. Held up very well to the dense and heavy batter. Tested it by itself and not using a bake sheet as support. No extended baking period of cake that size. However I did grease the paper mold as insurance.

Absolutely perfect! I've used these pans for about 4 years now, and I have never had a single problem. Not a drip, not a leak, not a tear. they are very well constructed and cook evenly, yielding a perfect cake every time.

grease Do I have to grease or flour the paper tube pan?

My favorite baking pan I like that it comes in a cute design because it's fun to put it on display. Like it's part of the whole dessert package! It's completely safe to bake with, and you don't have to worry about removing your dessert from the pan once you're done - keep it right in the same container you baked it in! I think you can use it in the freezer too.
