Interesting device This device has helped me with the chocolate "frosting" on my biscotti. It's taking me a bit to get used to it as the "plunger" gets further down I lose some of the control of the contents.

Cuisipro decorating pen Truly easy to use!

Great for chocolate I messed around with disposable plastic syringes before trying this. This is waaay easier to use and clean. Works well for untempered (messy under any conditions) and especially well for tempered chocolate.

Way better then I expected I've tried a variety of pens, bags, disposables and whatnot over the years, without a lot of success, but I used this with melted chocolate to make some multi-colored decorations, and it worked like a breeze. I was able to place the chocolate in the mold with ease and precision. The pen held a lot. Filling wasn't a problem either, I just put the tip in the chocolate and pulled up on the plunger, creating a vacuum. The only problem I had was that it was rather difficult to clean. I ended up using the end of a chopstick to get in there, and that worked. For my next project, I hope to get one for each color, to make it easier to switch back and forth.
