I knew they were very small and therefore not fully functional for heavy whisking purposes, but they didn't even hold up for five minutes after giving them to my students.
The ring in the center that holds the wires together shifts around and comes loose very easily, and when that happens the whole thing falls apart.

This happened with at least three of the whisks that I gave out and my students were doing nothing more with them than holding them and setting them down/picking them up.

Admittedly they are very cute little whisks and they make you want to scramble up an egg for yourself or whisk a bit o' muffin batter. In theory they are perfect as a small gift, stocking stuffer, etc. but they will likely leave you disappointed because you can't actually use them for anything practical.
