    Crepe Steel Pan

    • Steel plate is the ideal metal for making crispy, tasty crepes
    • The low sides of the steel pancake frying pan allows crepes to be easily flipped and turned
    • The handle is welded
    • Extra thick "Carbone Plus" steel. Perfect heat source distribution.
    • For use on any heating element: gas, vitro ceramic and electricity as well as on induction hob. 1.2 to 3 mm thickness. Riveted steel handle
    • The crepe steel frying pan remains essential for Sealing, Browning, Grilling food (steak, omelets, crepes, etc.) and improving flavor
    • Once it reaches temperatures above 140° C, the steel frying pan seals the food on the surface, resulting in the caramelization of the natural juices (the Maillard reaction).
    • A crust forms, preventing moisture from evaporating. The food becomes brown and crusty on the surface, tender and soft in the middle
    • Perfect for frying meat and obtaining crispy crepes or tasty omelets!

    Seasoning tip:

    • Put some potato peelings in your crepe steel pan, cover with water and boil for 15 minutes.
    • Next, throw away the peelings and rinse the frying pan with very hot water, wipe it and heat a little oil in the pan
    • finally wipe the pan with a paper towel
    • Your steel pancake pan is ready to use

Kind of Small I received the crepe pan this week and immediately used the potato peel method of season. I've now use the pan 2 times to fry breakfast meat and an egg and while it works well, it splatters outside of the pan. I know this will be a non-issue when I use it for crepes. I only bought this size as I needed the smallest size for use in an RV. I also own the next largest size and it is a decent size for crepes and other fry needs. I am finding that I now prefer carbon steel to cast iron.
