QT-10 sanitation test paper
15-foot roll with color chart.
Simple, reliable and inexpensive, Hydrion QT-10 quat test paper determines the concentration of quaternary sanitizers, including Rocall II and n-ADBAC and/or n-alkyl dimethyl ethyl benzyl ammonium chloride. With color matches at 0-100-200-300-400 ppm, the test paper measures concentrations between 0 and 400 ppm (parts per million). The paper detects when solutions are used up and need replacing, and also helps avoid the use of too much sanitizer.
Users of quaternary ammonium sanitizer solutions are required--by federal, state and local health regulations--to have test kits on hand to confirm the strength of sanitizer solutions. Vital in food service applications, the kits ensure that sanitizers are at the concentration given by their manufacturer.
How to use
Immerse the strip for 10 seconds in the sanitizing solution, then compare the resulting color with the color chart (enclosed), which matches concentrations of 0-100-200-300-400ppm. Test solution should be between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Call your health department for concentrations required for quaternary ammonium sanitizers. Concentrations will not always be the same. They can vary from one application to another.
