You can even out your dough with this sturdy stainless steel "racla", also known as 'raplette' (1/16" thick metal), thanks to the different parts you adjust with the plastic knobs. The longer metal strip is 19-3/4" long and 2-3/8" high. Each of the two shorter perpendicular metal strips is 6" long and 2-3/8" high. The shorter metal strip that is seen at the end of the racla is fixed in place, cast from the same piece of metal as the long strip and bent to form its 90º angle. But an added piece of metal is fastened on to the fixed one with the knobs, which, by turning, let you loosen that metal piece for adjustment.
The other 90-degree-angle metal strip is a separate piece equipped with a knob to hold the movable strip at different points along the long strip. As with the fixed metal strip at the racla's end, an additional unattached piece of metal is fastened on with knobs to this movable metal strip
