What You'll Need
Tools:
- Chocolate Dipping tools
- A Rubber spatula
- A Cup or bowl for melting
- Parchment paper
- A small sheet tray
- 1 disposable piping bag
- Scissors
Ingredients:
- 1lb fresh pineberries (washed and dried)
- 1 cup orange candy melts (or white chocolate with orange food coloring)
Instructions:
- Wash your pineberries and dry them thoroughly. Any moisture can prevent the candy coating from sticking properly.
- Prepare each berry for dipping by gently pulling back the calyx (the green leafy top) and piercing the top of the berry with a dipping tool or skewer.
- Dip the berry into the melted orange candy melts, making sure to cover as much of the berry as possible, getting close to the calyx.
- Lift the berry out of the candy melts, allowing any excess to drip back into the cup. Lightly wipe the bottom on the rim of the container if needed.
- Place the dipped berry on parchment paper or a silicone mat. Repeat the process with the remaining berries.
- Allow the coating to fully set before adding the drizzle.
- Fill a disposable piping bag with the remaining melted orange candy melts. Snip a very small opening at the tip using scissors.
- Drizzle the candy melts over each berry in a zigzag motion to give them a carrot-like appearance.
- Let the drizzle set completely, then plate and enjoy!
