This is Wilton's newer fondant recipe, the old one having been called "Ready-To-Use" fondant (710-2076)
Wilton's Decorator Preferred vanilla fondant has a different flavor, smoother and more creamy than the "Ready to Use" fondant. It is also more pliable so it is easier to work with.
24 ounces (weight) = 1-1/2 pounds (680 grams. Made in a U.K. plant that processes tree nuts and products containing eggs, milk and soy.
Wilton has upgraded the flavor of the fondant with the Decorator-Preferred Fondant recipe, but the ease of use, sturdiness and flexibility are as good as ever. Because it's flexible, the fondant is easy to cover a cake with, and since the fondant is also elastic and sturdy, it keeps the shape it's given in 3-D.
