8 and 1/2 cups flour for bread! We eat bread everyday, so that's why i purchased this. I got mine from our local hardware store, it came with a long paper inside with 2 recipes: Honey wheat bread needs 8 and 1/2 cups flour!, 2nd recipe calls for 12 egg whites for Angel food cake.

My old kitchen aid mixer can only handle 4 cups flour, so i made 2 bread batches and combined them after the 1st rising. Made 2 possible mistakes, only did 2 short rise times, 1st was 15 minutes, and 2nd was 30 minutes...Secondly, 375 DEg Fahr non convection oven for 35 minutes, the bread came out dense, overflowed the pan on 2nd rise, and needed 20 more minutes baking. So for next time going to try 3 pound bread instead of 4 pound. 4 pounds seems to be too much for this pan to handle.

Wilton Long Loaf Pan I've been looking for a long time for a pan of this shape. I haven't used it yet, but it looks ideal for Easter bread, and that's what I wanted it for . I am thankful that I found it on your site. It looks very well made and sturdy.
