Fancy Butterfly Rosette Iron Mold, Cast Aluminum
A light and airy springtime treat, Scandinavian Rosettes or Rose Cookies are a traditional fried pastry made by dipping a Rosette or Timbale iron into a thin batter, then frying it in hot oil. Rosettes are traditionally made in lacy patterns using shapes like snowflakes or stars, or in shell or cup-shapes using Timbale Irons. Today, these irons come in an assortment of interesting and intricate patterns, such as this Fancy Butterfly design. Our Rosette Molds are made from a cast aluminum alloy, so they are lightweight for easy handling around hot oil, and durable. Design allows for the rosette cookie to slide easily off the mold after frying (Irons should be seasoned properly in hot oil prior to first use).
