Gelatin is an all-natural thickening agent with no odor, taste, or color. When combined with a liquid, it forms a gel that can add just the right amount of body to desserts like mousses, souffles, and ice cream. To use, stir the gelatin into the specified amount of water (depending on the amount and thickness of gel needed). Then divide into small pieces and add directly to a hot mixture, or heat to liquefy before adding to a cold mixture.
