Sugar Dress Confectionery Lace Mix strikes the balance of strength and pliancy. Ductile yet firm, it's the paste you need for working with decorating mats that form the paste into a thin lacy sheet. Sugar Dress holds together while taken off the mat, but its suppleness lets it conform to a curving surface, such as the side of a round cake. The paste retains its white color but can be dyed with food coloring.
Use is simple and easy. The paste comes in two parts--a powder and a liquid--which you combine and add water to. Mix well, then spread the blend on your silicone lace mat. Leave to dry for 6 to 8 hours, or cut the drying time by heating the mix in the oven at 158 to 176F for 10 to 12 minutes. Your paste is ready.
Contains milk, soy and wheat as ingredients or in trace amounts.

I did a three layer for the last one and I liked that better than just doing two passes. All in all, very easy to follow directions and to make some great lace. I look forward to making much more...
