Just What We Needed
Why would a nice librarian from Kansas buy ledges for wire shelves from a bakery supply company in New York? Prices. Quality. Free shipping. And, they're perfect. Metal shelving makes much more sense for heavy books than flimsy, overpriced wooden bookcases, but they don't have any side pieces to keep books from falling out. These ledges work perfectly to corral the books my 85-year-old retired teacher/school counselor aunt hoards in her assisted living apt. She's happy (a rarity), so I'm happy. Buy these and you'll be happy, too. I bet they'll even work to corral bakeware and other accoutrements of the catering trade.
