Perfect Shortbread Pan This 8 x 11-14 x 1 tart pan is perfect for my shortbread cookie recipe. If I make nothing else in this it will still serve as the perfect mold for the best shortbread recipe I've found yet. For my purposes the pan is perfect because the length width and more importantly height accommodate the dough. The cookies are not too thick nor too thin. The pan is light but not flimsy I now have four. Its shiny finish I didn't want non-stick makes the golden finish of the cookies that much better. The removable bottom is helpful though I score the dough before and immediately after baking to make cutting easier. I bought this pan because I had one from several years ago not from this company and couldn't find a duplicate until I came to this site. Now I can make several batches of shortbread as gifts. I confidently recommend this pan.

sturdy, quality item Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect material for baking. Yes, there may be other similar pans on the market for a couple dollars less, but if you want an item that will last, and can be used repeatedly, this is what you want.
