Melting/warming poured fondant:
Heat fondant in a double boiler (boiling water in lower pot and fondant in another bowl on top of pot) until lukewarm over steady heat. Keep the temperature constant at 98°F / 37°C to obtain a better gloss and stability. Do not exceed 110°F / 43°C. Apply to the product.
Never add water to this fondant.
Do not put this fondant on the stove -- that would turn the fondant into syrup.
